Founder Cyrus Whittaker is a California and Nevada–licensed trial attorney and UCLA School of Law graduate who has personally tried more than twenty-five jury trials to verdict and secured multiple seven- and eight-figure outcomes in employment, tenant-rights, and personal-injury cases. Prior to launching his practice, he spent several years honing and developing his skills. Other law firms often entrust Mr. Whittaker as "Of Counsel" to work on high exposure, litigation-heavy, trial-oriented cases when serious financial results matter.

Before founding Whittaker Law, Mr. Whittaker practiced on the defense side at two international, insurance-defense law firms in both California and Nevada, representing insurance carriers and large corporate clients in a wide range of complex disputes in both CA and NV. This early defense experience provided him with a unique understanding of how insurers and opposing counsel evaluate and limit claims—insight he now uses to maximize case values for his clients. He also worked at multiple high-powered Plaintiff firms. Prior to that, he began his career working as a criminal prosecutor through a competitive fellowship program, at the Los Angeles City Attorney's Office. Within his first year of practice, he had tried more jury trials than most attorneys have done in their entire career.
